Steward's Report
Tucker Thief and Ballet Belle were slow out. Poetic Choice, Trew Courage and Typhoon Blaze collided soon after the start checking Typhoon Blaze. Quecee Bunsen and Dyna Commander collided approaching the first turn. Tucker Thief, Trew Courage and Ballet Belle collided on the first turn checking Trew Courage and Ballet Belle. Poetic Choice and Typhoon Blaze collided on the first turn. Poetic Choice checked off the heels of Trew Courage approaching the second turn. Trew Courage and Ballet Belle collided on the second turn. Quecee Bunsen and Dyna Commander collided approaching the home turn. Trew Courage and Ballet Belle collided on the home turn. Quecee Bunsen and Dyna Commander collided in the home straight. Typhoon Blaze raced erratically in the home straight.
Typhoon Blaze was vetted following the Event and after being revetted, Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey and left back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Typhoon Blaze down from competing for 7 days. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, B. Briffa, regarding the manner in which Typhoon Blaze raced in the home straight.
