Steward's Report
Silent Charisma and Mooney Jess were slow out. Mary Frances, Ducal Princess and Franklin Delight collided soon after the start checking Ducal Princess. Mary Frances and Silent Charisma collided on the first turn checking Silent Charisma. Mary Frances galloped on the heels of Vintage Fantasy on the second turn severely checking Mary Frances and Silent Charisma. Ducal Princess and Franklin Delight collided approaching the home turn.
Zappoura was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left triceps. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Zappoura down from competing for 5 days.
