Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Hall, the Stewards will stand Coole Castle down from competing for 5 days. Stewards charged Coole Castle in contravention of AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the finishing line. After taking evidence from Trainer, Carl Haas, and taking into account the injuries sustained to the greyhound, the Stewards invoked AGRR 82.1(d) in lieu of AGRR 80.2 and have directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted. Falcon Flex was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Hall reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards charged Falcon Flex in contravention of AGRR 80.1 for fighting in the home straight. After taking evidence from Handler, Tom Dailly (representing Trainer - George Dailly), acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards found Falcon Flex guilty as charged.
