Tally Bale eased on the first turn checking Doralynn Bale. Doralynn Bale, Booma Storm and Barslie Brae collided on the first turn checking Booma Storm, Doralynn Bale and Judge Mint. Cynthia Bale and Talanjee Tiger collided on the first turn. Cynthia Bale checked off the heels of Judge Mint entering the home straight. Tally Bale raced wide entering the home straight. Doralynn Bale eased in the home straight. Tally Bale was vetted following the Event and after being revetted, Dr. David Hall, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards charged Tally Bale in contravention of AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment on the first turn. After taking evidence from Handler, Brad Keel (representing Trainer - Michael Gibbons), acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards found Tally Bale guilty as charged. Acting in accordance with AGRR 81.1, the Stewards will stand Tally Bale down from competing for 28 days at Sandown Park only and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
