Steward's Report
Chatilly Lace, Nat's Thunder and Regal Brett were slow out. Chatilly Lace and Nat's Thunder collided soon after the start. Jenallie, Nat's Thunder, Stanton and Tabrooke Flyer collided on the first turn checking Jenallie and Nat's Thunder. Chatilly Lace checked off the heels of Stanton approaching the second turn. Jenallie and Chatilly Lace collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds.
Chatilly Lace was vetted following the Event and Dr. Y. Indrawirawan, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained superficial wounds to the left metatarsal and soreness to the left back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Indrawirawan, the Stewards will stand Chatilly Lace down from competing for 5 days.
Jenallie was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Indrawirawan reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
