Steward's Report

Pristine Litenin and Mepunga Assassin collided on the first turn. Mepunga Assassin clipped the heels of Pristine Litenin on the second turn. Triple Trio and Fine Lad collided on the third turn. Milk Magic eased on the home turn and collided with Jemalong Dooby as a result. Jemalong Dooby, Springvale Jinx and Milk Magic collided in the home straight. Milk Magic was vetted following and after being revetted, Dr. Y. Indrawirawan, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle muscle injury and recommended the greyhound be stood down from competing for 7 days. Stewards charged Milk Magic with contravention of AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment on the home turn. After taking evidence from Trainer, P. Trim, and taking into account the injuries sustained to the greyhound, the Stewards invoked AGRR 82.1(d) in lieu of AGRR 80.1 and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
