Billane Boy and King's Dilemma collided soon after the start. Connemara Wish, Mepunga East, Billane Boy and King's Dilemma collided approaching the first turn. Connemara Wish, Mepunga East, Billane Boy and Ultraflex collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Connemara Wish and Ultraflex collided on the second turn checking Connemara Wish, Billane Boy and Ultraflex. Casual Tom and Lansley Pal collided in the back straight checking Lansley Pal. King's Dilemma checked off the heels of Casual Tom on the third turn.
