Executive Speed and Trewly Special were slow out. Executive Speed checked off the heels of Bourne Saintly soon after the start causing Executive Speed and Trewly Special to collide. Trewly Special and Hot Fire collided on the first turn. Bourne Saintly checked off the heels of Alexander Bale approaching the second turn causing Bourne Saintly to race wide checking Hot Fire as a result. Alexander Bale checked off the heels of Arvo's Blitz on the third turn. Alexander Bale, Bourne Saintly and Executive Speed collided on the third turn checking Hot Fire.
