Steward's Report
Majestic Flex and Trailer Trash were slow out. Mervyn McBen, Traitor's Reward, Nitro Neveelk and Mister Rubble collided soon after the start checking Mervyn McBen, Traitor's Reward and Trailer Trash. Majestic Flex and Mister Rubble collided approaching the second turn. Trailer Trash checked off the heels of Dixie Dunbar on the home turn causing Traitor's Reward and Trailer Trash to collide.
Traitor's Reward was vetted following the Event and after being revetted, Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hock, right calf, right shoulder and left wrist. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Traitor's Reward down from competing for 7 days. Stewards issued a warning to Handler, Donna Brown (representing Trainer - Graham Brown), for the manner in which Traitor's Reward raced throughout the Event.
