Steward's Report

Sun Alert and Trew Touch were slow out. Timeing, Sun Alert and Trew Touch collided soon after the start causing Trew Touch to fall. Jemalong Dooby and Kola's Gift collided on the first turn causing Kola's Gift to fall severely checking Timeing. General Deano and Gun Striker collided on the first turn checking General Deano. Kola's Gift was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Kola's Gift down from competing for 5 days. General Deano was vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand General Deano down from competing for 21 days. Trew Touch was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
