Steward's Report
Albarta Prince and Lika Magician were slow out. Fenceline and Leefull collided approaching the first turn. Fenceline checked off the heels of Shanlyn Junior on the second turn checking Walkaway Free. Cheyne Royale and Ebony Fix collided on the third turn. Walkaway Free and Leefull collided on the third turn causing both greyhounds to fall and severely check Lika Magician as a result.
Walkaway Free was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
Leefull was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Leefull down from competing for 5 days.
