Steward's Report
Stewards extended the kennelling time to close at 7.15pm to allow several Trainers to arrive on course after a major motor vehicle accident on the Tullamarine Freeway caused lengthy traffic delays.
Drop The Hammer and Hollywood Wish were slow out. Honlee Pilli and Love A Gossip collided soon after the start. Love A Gossip, Drop The Hammer and Hollywood Wish collided approaching the first turn checking Drop The Hammer. Honlee Pilli and Girrawarra Niper collided on the first turn checking Tyler Flex. Drop The Hammer checked off the heels of Hollywood Wish on the first turn. Love A Gossip checked off the heels of Hollywood Wish approaching the second turn. Girrawarra Niper checked off the heels of Tyler Flex on the third turn checking Honlee Pilli and Drop The Hammer. Love A Gossip raced wide approaching the home turn.
