Shyloch and Dewana Bill were slow out. Shyloch and Telemakhas collided soon after the start checking Shyloch. Shyloch and Telemakhas collided approaching the first turn. Sparkling Sal, Dyna Caitlan, Shorty Velochi and Quecee Bunsen collided on the first turn checking Dewana Bill, Sparkling Sal and Shorty Velochi. Shyloch and Shorty Velochi collided on the first turn checking Shorty Velochi. Quecee Bunsen checked off the heels of Dyna Caitlan approaching the second turn. Ben Galore checked off the heels of Dyna Caitlan on the third turn. Ben Galore and Quecee Bunsen collided approaching the home turn. Sparkling Sal pulled up in the home straight. Sparkling Sal was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right humerus. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Sparkling Sal down from competing for 30 days. Shyloch was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards issued a warning to Handler, Dennis Trewin (representing Trainer - Tina Womann), regarding the manner in which the greyhound raced approaching the second turn.
