Split The Breeze, Major Glory and Dyna Ross were slow out. Voluptuous Vixen and Blaine Blues collided approaching the first turn checking Voluptuous Vixen. Dyna Caitlan, Split The Breeze and Major Glory collided on the first turn. Voluptuous Vixen and Split The Breeze collided entering the back straight. Dyna Caitlan and Major Glory collided entering the back straight. Blaine Blues eased on the third turn checking Little Jordyn. Dyna Caitlan and Major Glory collided entering the home straight. Blaine Blues was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards charged Blaine Blues in contravention of AGRR 80.2 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment on the third turn. After taking evidence from Trainer, E. Sallows, acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards found Blaine Blues guilty as charged. Acting in accordance with AGRR 81.1, the Stewards will stand Blaine Blues down from competing for 28 days at The Meadows only and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted. A swab sample was taken from Dyna Kelso, the winner of the Event.
