Sonic Bob and Forrester Bale were slow out. Gingernut Man and Legs A Plenty collided soon after the start. Shamira Bale, Nobody Knew and Bingham Bale collided on the first turn checking Bingham Bale. Gingernut Man, Legs A Plenty and Sonic Bob collided approaching the second turn checking Gingernut Man and Legs A Plenty and severely checking Sonic Bob. Gingernut Man and Legs A Plenty collided on the second turn. Forrester Bale and Bingham Bale collided entering the home straight. Gingernut Man was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

Some Telling and Who's This were slow out. Jessica's Title, Bronwyn Bale and Harvey Bale collided soon after the start checking Jessica's Title and Bronwyn Bale. Who's This checked off the heels of Amberlyn Bale approaching the second turn. Some Telling checked off the heels of Amberlyn Bale on the second turn and collided with Who's This as a result. Amberlyn Bale checked off the heels of Jerry Magee approaching the third turn. Bronwyn Bale galloped on the heels of Amberlyn Bale on the home turn.

Storm Dancer and Lucky Nero were slow out. Lucky Nero, Westdance Melody and Shirdon Melody collided approaching the first turn. Lucky Nero contacted the running rail on the second turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Shirdon Melody and Excessive Heat collided on the third turn checking Shirdon Melody. Storm Dancer and Fly The Coup collided approaching the home turn. Lucky Nero was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained a tail injury. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Carter, the Stewards will stand Lucky Nero down from competing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to Trainer, A Steele, regarding the performance of Lucky Nero this evening. Mr. Steele could offer no explanation for the greyhound's disappointing performance advising Stewards that the greyhound's preparation for the race had been, in his opinion, very good and he was extremely confident of a forwarding showing in tonight's race and supported the greyhound accordingly. Stewards noted Mr. Steele's explanation and directed that samples be taken from Lucky Nero, which finished 7th in the Event.

Saintly Reign, Dash Of Burgundy and Hasty Henry were slow out. Spiros Bale and Boonchu Boy collided soon after the start. Sly Bandit, Spiros Bale and Shaylee Bale collided on the first turn checking Saintly Reign.

Rare Aussie, Oh Behave and Perfect Heart collided on the first turn checking Westar Sparkle, Oh Behave and Perfect Heart; Westar Sparkle and Oh Behave stumbled as a result. Oh Behave and Perfect Heart collided on the home turn. A swab sample was taken from Arvo's Junior, the winner of the Event.

Westend Prince and George Black were slow out. Pyrenees Region and Westend Prince collided soon after the start. Miss Kentucky checked off the heels of Draino on the first turn and collided with George Black as a result. Pyrenees Region checked off the heels of Draino approaching the second turn. Pyrenees Region, Westend Prince and George Black were checked on the second turn. Pretty Patty checked off the heels of Miss Kentucky on the second turn. Pretty Patty galloped on the heels of Draino in the home straight. Pyrenees Region was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

Black Anvil was slow out and collided with Major Blaze soon after the start. Brumby Lad and Regal Bart collided soon after the start. Bentley Jones, Token Effort and McCartney collided approaching the first turn. McCartney, Black Anvil and Major Blaze collided on the first turn checking McCartney and Black Anvil. McCartney and Black Anvil collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Bentley Jones and Regal Bart collided on the second turn, approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Stewards withdrew Shuttle Train from this Event at 6.43 p.m. kennelling time after Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound had swelling and a possible infection to the left hind. Acting in accordance with AGRR 6(4), the Stewards will stand Shuttle Train down from competing for 7 days. A pre-race swab sample was taken from Your Not Wrong. Your Not Wrong, Great Challenge and Exalted were slow out. Your Not Wrong and Great Challenge collided on the first turn. Your Not Wrong clipped the heels of Great Challenge on the second turn. Great Challenge and Exalted collided on the third turn.

Azz I'm English and Mr. Callahan were slow out. Sweet Walk and Nanchero Chief collided soon after the start. Azz I'm, English, Sweet Walk, Nanchero Chief and Smoky's Chance collided on the first turn checking Smoky's Chance. Sweet Walk and Mr. Callahan collided on the second turn.
