Steward's Report
Grey Cherry was slow out. Juddinator, Barelen Gem and Breakaway Threat collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Uno Monty and Winoki collided approaching the first turn. Barelen Gem checked off the heels of Juddinator on the first turn. Juddinator and Breadaway Threat collided on the first turn checking Breakaway Threat.
Barelen Gem was vetted after the event and then re-vetted after Race 9. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a muscle injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr.G.Tew trainer of the greyhound Barelen Gem. Stewards deemed the performance of Barelen Gem unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR71, Stewards directed that Barelen Gem must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all Tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
