Steward's Report
Storm Fury, Kalimna Shadow, Jaimandy Quinlan and Here We Go were slow out. Storm Fury and Passport Pete collided soon after the start. Passport Pete checked off the heels of Kalimna Shadow approaching the first turn checking Jaimandy Quinlan and Pontchateau. Kalimna Shadow, Here We Go, Passport Pete and Pontchateau collided on the first turn checking Kalimna Shadow, Passport Pete and Pontchateau. Where's Gab galloped on the heels of Storm Fury on the first turn checking Kergunyah Kid. Passport Pete and Jaimandy Quinlan collided approaching the home turn checking Jaimandy Quinlan. Jaimandy Quinlan faltered approaching the home turn and collided with Kalimna Shadow, severely checking both greyhounds.
Kalimna Shadow was vetted after the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Jaimandy Quinlan was vetted after the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a muscle injury to the left hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
