Steward's Report
Slipstream Queen was very slow out. Little Blue Wren and Rivalli collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Higher, Little Blue Wren and Slipstream Queen collided on the first turn, checking Little Blue Wren. Higher, Rivalli, Slipstream Queen and Kim Vialie collided on the first turn, checking Rivalli and Higher. Rose Patch checked off the heels of Holy Thunder on the first turn and stumbled as a result. Little Blue Wren checked off the heels of Rose Patch entering the home straight.
Rose Patch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sesamoid strain to the left foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
