Steward's Report
Royal Lee, Clan McBride and Shoosh Now were slow out. Royal Lee, Clan McBride and Super Chicken collided soon after the start. Dr.Chee Chee checked off Cee Wood on the first turn checking Super Chicken and Royal Lee and severely checking McCurdy. Shoosh Now and Bullicourt Patch collided approaching the home turn. Chee Wood and Super Chicken collided approaching the winning post. When questioned regarding the improved performance of Shoosh Now, the greyhounds trainer Mr CW Hon explained to Stewards that the greyhound had been in his kennels for three weeks following a spell, after being severely checked in his previous start at Warrugal on July 21. Mr Hon also informed Stewards that the greyhound had been trialling well and that he was confident of a forward showing tonight.
