Spark A Light was a late scratching at 6:05pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. Irene May and Flying Collision were slow out. Diamond Tulip and Michael Yawn collided approaching the firt turn. Quite Dashing and Irene May collided on the first turn checking Quite Dashing. Diamond Tulip, Michael Yawn, Flying Collison, Cheap Smokes and Clubber Morris collided on the first turn checking Flying Collision and severely checking Cheap Smokes and Clubber Morris, resulting in Clubber Morris falling. Clubber Morris was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
