Dr. O'driscoll and Shaka Zulu were slow out. Beilharz Beauty checked off the heels of Black Collie on the first turn. Rocky Fields, Sicem Rex and Shaka Zulu collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.
Shaka Zulu checked off the heels of Beilharz Beauty on the first turn. Rocky Fields checked off the heels of Shaka Zulu on the home turn. Shaka Zulu raced wide on the home turn. Dr. O'driscoll and Beilharz Beauty collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds, both raced wide as a result.
