Steward's Report

Fly On Bonnie and Sara Magee were slow out. Restless Stan checked off the heels of Random Flyer approaching the first turn. Random Flyer checked off the heels of Tilos Skilos on the first turn. Restless Stan checked off the heels of Fly On Bonnie on the first turn. Beauhaven Escape checked off the heels of Arvo's Alarm on the first turn. Restless Stan, Tilos Skilos and Youngy's Pick collided on the fifth turn severely checking Restless Stan. Random Flyer and Sara Magee collided approaching the home turn. Beauhaven Escape veered out and fought Youngy's Pick on the home turn. Beauhaven Escape was vetted following the Event and Dr. Margaret Backhoy, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards charged Beauhaven Escape in contravention of AGRR 80.1 for fighting on the home turn. After taking evidence from Handler, Mrs Tartaglia (representing Trainer, Tom Dailly), acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards found Beauhaven Escape guilty as charged. Acting in accordance with AGRR 81.2, the Stewards will stand Beauhaven Escape down from competing for three months on all tracks and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
