Lady Sharni and Sunlu's Fly collided approaching the first turn. Hard Hitter checked off Texas Cruiser on the first turn. Dusty Dax and Lady Sharni collided approaching the third turn. Pyramid Hilton and Dusty Dax collided on the fourth turn checking Pyramid Hilton. Lady Sharni and Batnap collided approaching the home turn. Pyramid Hilton checked off Dusty Dax on the home turn checking Batnap. Hard Hitter checked off Pyramid Hilton in the home straight. Hard Hitter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Texas Cruiser was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr K. Karamatic, Trainer of Sunlu's Fly regarding the greyhound's improved performance today. Mr Karamatic stated that the greyhound was having its first start for his kennel today and the greyhound raced at a new declared weight which he believed contributed to the greyhound's improved performance.
