Steward's Report

Speedway Stuey, Plenty Steel and Iguodala were slow out. Dijamaka Fast, Miz Raejan and Surfing Nikita collided approaching the first turn checking Miz Raejan and Speedway Stuey. Dijamaka Fast and Surfing Nikita collided on the first turn checking Dijamaka Fast. Iguodala crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Surfing Nikita, Plenty Steel and Dijamaka Fast. Speedway Stuey raced wide on the first turn. Kirabilli Skye eased approaching the winning post. Kirabilli Skye was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 12 it was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Kirabilli Skye with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warrnambool and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
