A pre race smaple was taken from Hi Halo.
Pure Jazz was slow out. Trisha Tryhard and Regal Morris collided soon after the start. Jabba Bale and Hi Halo collided approaching the first turn, checking Hi Halo. Hold The Pickles, Trisha Tryhard and Branded Awesome collided on the first turn. Pure Jazz and Hi Halo collided approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Hold The Pickles and Regal Morris collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
Regal Morris was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wound injuries to the right hind foot. No stand penalty was applied.
