Pirie Park was a late scratching at 5.58p.m. on veterinary advice due to injury.
Lil' Man and Volcom Bale were slow out. Lil' Man and Night Planner collided soon after the start. Lil' Man, Rambo Joe and and Gold Man collided on the first turn. Lil' Man and Gold Man collided approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Rambo Joe and Gold Man collided in the home straight.
Rambo Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lower back and left shoulder soreness, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
