Steward's Report
Dot's Raffle was a late scratching at 9.05am due to injury.
Eagle Rocker was slow out. Princess Xango and Kialla Tommy collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Cold Blast and Pure Special collided on the first turn checking Pure Special. Pure Special veered out and marred the running of Eagle Rocker approaching the home turn checking Eagle Rocker and Cold Blast.
Pure Special was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both triangle muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) Stewards charged Pure Special with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sandown Park and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
