Steward's Report

Sayonara Sal was a late scratching at 11:30am due to non arrival. Boss Title, Emery John and Always Rouge were slow out. Season's Chief and Emery John collided soon after the start. Season's Chief and Emery John raced wide on the first turn. Scotch Parade and Peaches collided approaching the winning post. Season's Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound incurred grazes to the right fore, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under AGRR85, Stewards directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, before any future nomination. Emery John was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right pencil muscle and right metatarsal, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer of Emery John, Mr W. Read and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Peaches was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards spoke to Trainer of Peaches, Mr L. Kraemer and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
