Steward's Report
Sam Havoc, Special Light and Long Kiss were slow out. Big Ernie Oodles and Sam Havoc collided approaching the first turn. Takea Train and Sam Havoc collided on the first turn. Big Ernie Oodles hit the running rail in the home straight. Agent Alex and Special Light collided in the home straight and again approaching the finishing line. General Cosgrove checked off the heels of Long Kiss approaching the finishing line.
Agent Alex was vetted following the Event and Dr. Wendy Balmain, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right pencil muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Balmain, the Stewards will stand Agent Alex down from competing for 7 days to recuperate. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Angela Modra, regarding the manner in which Agent Alex raced in the home straight.
