Steward's Report
Lady Shanae, Rich Hand, Ragged Title and Latest Lad were slow out. Rich Hand and Latest Lad collided on the first turn. Solo Title checked off the heels of Groovy Model on the first turn. Speedy Prospect checked off the heels of Groovy Model on the second turn. Speedy Prospect, Rich Hand, Shanna Bale and Latest Lad collided on the third turn checking Speedy Prospect and Rich Hand. Latest Lad checked off the heels of Shanna Bale approaching the home turn.
Speedy Prospect was vetted following the Event and Dr. Wendy Balmain, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right monkey muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Balmain, the Stewards will stand Speedy Prospect down from competing for 28 days.
