Steward's Report
Texas President and Moyne Prince were slow out. Black Jagga, Moyne Prince and Trip And Go collided approaching the first turn. Trip And Go galloped on the heels of Let It Be approaching the first turn causing Let It Be to stumble. Black Jagga, Moyne Prince and Let It Be collided on the first turn checking Black Jagga and Let It Be. Disguised, Texas President, Moyne Prince, Trip And Go and Connemara Lad were checked approaching the second turn; Disguised fell as a result. Black Jagga checked off the heels of Let It Be approaching the second turn. Trip And Go and Connemara Lad collided on the third turn and again on the home turn.
Disguised was vetted following the Event and Dr. David Stobo, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be sore in the left triceps. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Stobo, the Stewards will stand Disguised down from competing for 5 days.
Stewards issued a warning to Handler, Joe Briffa (representing Trainer - Graeme Bate) regarding the manner in which Black Jagga raced approaching the second turn.
