Steward's Report
Millstreet Eire and Kadichia Lad collided soon after the start checking Millstreet Eire. Zamanui, Millstreet Eire and Kadichia Lad collided on the first turn checking Millstreet Eire and Kadichia Lad. Greenlea Prince and Proven Dream collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Millstreet Eire and Proven Dream collided approaching the home turn. Super Rush veered out and fought Bring The Bacon entering the home straight.
Super Rush was vetted following the Event and Dr. Wendy Balmain, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards charged Super Rush under AGRR 80.1 for fighting entering the home straight. After taking evidence from Trainer, Michelle Mallia-Magri, acting on their own observations and viewing the official video film, the Stewards found Super Rush guilty as charged. Acting in accordance with AGRR 81.1, the Stewards will stand Super Rush down from competing for 28 days at Sandown Park only and will require the greyhound to perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
Swab samples were taken from placegetters - Zamanui (1st) and Random Flyer (2nd).
