Steward's Report
Dynamism, La Silkab, Bang Shangalang and Maglieri were slow out. Gold Park and Accaboy collided soon after the start. La Silkab checked off the heels of Accaboy soon after the start. La Silkab raced wide on the first turn. Gold Park and Maglieri collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Riverlee Bale and Jeanie's Queen collided on the second turn checking Jeanie's Queen. Dynamism and Gold Park collided on the second turn checking Gold Park.
La Silkab was vetted following the Event and Dr. Wendy Balmain, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was injured in the right pencil muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Balmain, the Stewards will stand La Silkab down from competing for 7 days.
A swab sample was taken from Riverlee Bale, the winner of the Event.
