Steward's Report
Imran was slow out. Spanish Dude and Imran collided soon after the start. Black Jagga and Hey Brother collided on the first turn. Spanish Dude, Imran and Hey Brother collided entering the back straight checking Imran and Hey Brother and severely checking Spanish Dude. Renzo Bale and Arivada Bale raced wide in the back straight. Black Jagga and Arivada Bale collided approaching the home turn. Speedy Prospect and Imran collided on the home turn.
Hey Brother was vetted following the Event and Dr. Wendy Balmain, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound had spike wounds to the left hind leg. No stand down penalty was applied to Hey Brother due to the minor extent of the wound.
