Joey Gez checked off Pure Stealth entering the back straight. On The Grid raced wide in the back straight. Blues Judd, Linguist and On The Grid collided on the second turn checking Blues Judd and Linguist. Fire Up Nate and On The Grid collided approaching the home turn. Fire Up Nate checked off Greysynd Rain approaching the home turn. Blues Judd raced wide entering the home straight. Linguist and On The Grid collided entering the home straight. Pure Stealth eased in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Pure Stealth was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right quadricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Pure Stealth with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
