Desoto, Vapour King and Buddy Bankcard were slow to begin. Royal Rhonda and Miss Deception collided approaching the first turn. Miss Deception, Desoto and Buddy Bankcard collided approaching the first turn. Sky Duo crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Miss Deception. Miss Deception, Desoto and Buddy Bankcard collided on the first turn causing Buddy Bankcard to raced wide. Vapour King raced wide approaching the second turn. Royal Rhonda and Miss Deception collided approaching the second turn. Royal Rhonda galloped on the heels of Miss Deception entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Vapor King galloped on the heels of Royal Rhonda in the back straight checking both greyhounds.
