Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Crafty Cheese.
Namazake and Little Big Rig were quick to begin. Crafty Cheese and Invictus Roulett were slow to begin. Regal Pinari, Return The Opal and Tsunami Joe collided approaching the first turn checking Regal Pinari and Return The Opal. Crafty Cheese and Tsunami Joe collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds and checking Regal Pinari as a result. Namazake was checked off Dirty Bit approaching the home turn. Regal Pinari and Crafty Cheese collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Dirty Bit was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken tail and injured left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
