Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Mr. Peter Nicholls did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Aston Allure was quick to begin. Applicant was slow to begin.
Redshift Romeo (severely checked and fell turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Jasprizza Bale (checked turning out of the front straight and lost ground over the remainder of the event) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left triangle muscle and a laceration to the left tibia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Freeman Bale (severely checked and fell turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, left hamstrings and right triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Big Yeti - the winner of the event.
