Steward's Report
Mr Darren Petersen failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Back Ruby for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
Whiskey Splash – Late scratching at 6:55am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 77). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Back Ruby and Big Cuddle were quick to begin. She's Smooth was slow to begin. Parumba Prince went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin.
She's Smooth (galloped on and severely checked approaching the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps injury and an abrasion to the left hind toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
