Let Me Be, Zafonic Zjahdi, Ima Legend and Regal Gladiator collided soon after the start checking Ima Legend. Ima Legend, Zafonic Zjahdi and Regal Gladiator collided approaching the first turn checking Zafonic Zjahdi and Regal Gladiator. Zafonic Zjahdi checked off Regal Gladiator on the first turn. Ima Legend and Let Me Be collided approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to A Hyde, trainer of Hades Meteor in regards to the improved performance of the greyhound. Mr Hyde stated that whilst the greyhound had previously recorded a similar time, the greyhound had a reocurring forearm injury that he was managing. Mr Hyde further stated that the greyhound can be unpredictible but was able to begin well today and avoid interference. A sample was taken from Hades Meteor winner of the event.
