Steward's Report
Borough Lil and Remo Adalli were quick to begin. Chopper Juice and Reiko Dusty were slow to begin.
Tinker Bruce (visibly eased turning out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported and Kennel Representative Mr. Craig Burns declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. Burns regarding Tinker Bruce’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Tinker Bruce was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Burns pleaded guilty to the charge. Tinker Bruce was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat (first offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
