Steward's Report
Grand Stride was slow to begin.
Dr. Ivor turned its head outwards and marred Grand Stride, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Gill regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Dr. Ivor was charged with marring. Ms Gill pleaded not guilty to the charge. Dr. Ivor was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
