A pre–race sample was taken from Project Mayhem.

Hammer To Fall (severely checked on the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Project Mayhem (eased and turned its head outwards soon after the start, approaching the home turn and approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr J.Clarke regarding Project Mayhem’s racing manners throughout the event. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Project Mayhem was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Clarke pleaded guilty to the charge. Project Mayhem was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at  All tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Following the running of this event, Stewards were made aware of an incident in the kennel area involving registered participants Mr Cameron Hudson and Mr Jack Clarke. After hearing submissions from Mr Hudson, Mr Clarke, and several other witnesses to the incident, Stewards imposed the following penalty after considering all the available evidence: 

Mr. Cameron Hudson - Pleaded guilty to a charge of GAR 165(a) in that he engaged in conduct that was detrimental to the interest and image of greyhound racing. Stewards found Mr Hudson guilty as charged and imposed a penalty of $500 wholly suspended for 24 months, pending no further conduct-related issues in this time.

Little Fast Bull and Cooper Summer were quick to begin. 

Handler Mr Mark Roberts failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Little Fast Bull for racing. A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).

Far Away Tears, Diva Davina, Especial Digger and Hustle Nina were slow to begin. 

Mathoura Marvel (brushed the running rail approaching the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Tobikuma was quick to begin. Rabada and Golden Lady were slow to begin.

Con Cabang and Hellboy were slow to begin.

Con Cabang (severely checked entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hellboy (severely checked entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Rothwell Boy raced wide in the home straight. 

Fayetteville (brushed the rail approaching the first turn and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left stopper injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Revesby Bale underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Revesby Bale was slow to begin. 

Mcivor Rusty underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. No apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Mark Giddings regarding the racing manners of Confer in the catching pen. After hearing submissions from Mr Giddings, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.

Redshift Mike – Late scratching at 11.42am - Stewards Permission. 

Kaori – Late scratching at 2:14pm due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Dashing Jeff and Shae Shae Cabang were slow to begin.
