Mr. R. Redenbach, trainer of Coolan Lad  redeclared a new weight of 33.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coolan Lad last raced at 31.4kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Agility prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.

A pre-race sample was taken from Magneto Bale.

Hot Dream become loose from the trainer Mr. P. Galea upon the direction from the starter to loosen collars at the boxes and galloped for a short distance before being recaptured. The greyhound was vetted and passed fit to compete. Mr.P.Galea trainer of Hot Dream was issued with a warning regarding this incident.

Groove Girl was quick to begin. Coolan Lad, Kakihara and Sam Toocan were slow to begin. Agility and No No Notorious collided soon after the start checking No No Notorious. Magneto Bale, Coolan Lad and Kakihara collided soon after the start checking Coolan Lad. Magneto Bale, Coolan Lad and Kakihara collided on the first turn checking Coolan Lad, Kakihara, Sam Toocan and No No Notorious. Coolan Lad and Kakihara collided on the third turn checking Coolan Lad.

Coolan Lad was vetted and after being re-vetted following event three, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr.P. Riley, trainer of Kisai Blade redeclared a new weight of 33.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Kisai Blade last raced at 35.5kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Bottom Dollar.

Spring Millie and Kisai Blade were slow to begin. Spring Millie and Beckenbauer collided soon after the start. Why Not Heather, Spring Millie, Bottom Dollar, Soul Maker and Sage Bale collided on the first turn checking Spring Millie, Why Not Heather and Sage Bale, and severely checking Bottom Dollar and Kisai Blade and causing Soul Maker to fall. Beckenbauer and Allen Icarus collided on the first turn.

Kisai Blade was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right elbow, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Soul Maker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right stifle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss. M. Barber, trainer of Dasha Mikado redeclared a new weight of 36.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dasha Mikado last raced at 35.1kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Fratelli Fresh.

Usain I'm Nutty and Fratelli Fresh were slow to begin. Dr. Klaas, Dasha Mikado and Chrichton Bale collided soon after the start checking Dasha Mikado. Dr. Klaas and Chrichton Bale collided soon after the start. Dr. Klaas checked off Senor Socks approaching the first turn checking Usain I'm Nutty. Dr. Klaas, Chrichton Bale and Upset Boy collided on the first turn checking Dasha Mikado, Chrichton Bale and Upset Boy. Usain I'm Nutty checked off Dr. Klaas approaching the second turn. Chrichton Bale and Upset Boy collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Usain I'm Nutty and Dr. Klaas collided on the third turn. Dr. Klaas and Dasha Mikado collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Dasha Mikado. Usain I'm Nutty and Fratelli Fresh collided entering the home straight. Chrichton Bale and Upset Boy collided in the home straight.

Dasha Mikado was vetted following the event. It was reported  that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Sammy prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course. 

Mepunga Sammy was slow to begin. Survivor Sal, Mepunga Sammy, Mimicking and Sunday Sess collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Mepunga Sammy and Mimicking. Mimicking and Sunday Sess collided on the second turn.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obatined from Tears Siam, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

West On Delly and Julie Bale were slow to begin. Mepunga Mia, Jewel Action and Diva's Shadow collided approaching the first turn checking Come On Fantasy, Jewel Action and West On Delly. Mepunga Mia and Diva's Shadow collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Mia which pulled up as a result. Come On Fantasy, Jewel Action and Diva's Shadow collided approaching the second turn. Jewel Action and West On Delly collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds. Come On Fantasy, Julie Bale and Diva's Shadow collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn checking Diva's Shadow.

Mepunga Mia was vetted following the event. It was reported that the gryhound sustained an injury to the right radius, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Latoya prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course. 

Oakvale Destiny was slow to begin. Weblec Rose was quick to begin. Esparza and Neolisious collided soon after the start. Oakvale Destiny and Esparza collided approaching the first turn. Neolisious galloped on the heels of Polly Bale approaching the first turn. Polly Bale, Esparza and Neolisious collided on the first turn severely checking Polly Bale, Oakvale Destiny, Esparza and Neolisious.

Weblec Rose (1st), Lamia Bale (2nd),  Miss Latoya (3rd) & Oakvale Destiny (3rd).

Miss Shirleen was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Cosmic Owl and Benta Bale collided on the first turn checking Aeroplane Ritzy and Pretty Bale. Hashtag Selfie and Kerrigan Bale collided on the first turn. Miss Shirleen checked off Pretty Bale on the first turn. Hashtag Selfie and Kerrigan Bale collided approaching the second turn. Hashtag Selfie checked off Kerrigan Bale on the third turn.

Pud was slow to begin. Jamiela Twist crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Hestia Bale, Mepunga Treasure and Rocka Hula Baby. Mepunga Treasure, Rocka Hula Baby and Pud collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Nico crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Footluce Diva, Hestia Bale and Jamiela Twist. Oakvale Flyer, Hestia Bale, Mepunga Treasure, Jamiela Twist and Pud collided on the first turn checking Oakvale Flyer, Hestia Bale, Mepunga Treasure, Rocka Hula Baby and Pud. Hestia Bale and Rocka Hula Baby collided approaching the second turn. Oakvale Flyer checked off Rocka Hula Baby approaching the home turn.

Sonic Fury and Serash Bale were quick to begin. Opec Bale was slow to begin. Alouette Magic and Macca's Sway collided soon after the start. Alouette Magic and Macca's Sway collided soon after the start. Alouette Magic checked off Macca's Sway approaching the first turn. Macca's Sway and Pennsylvania Is collided approaching the first turn. Pennsylvania Is crossed to the rail approaching the second turn. Macca's Sway and Serash Bale collided approaching the third turn.

Sonic Fury was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aristotle Bale prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course. 

Aristotle Bale, Buckle Up Axel, Airbound and Callum's Mum were slow to begin. Dr. Rahoual, Buckle Up Axel, Airbound and Kathy's Queen collided soon after the start. Whatta Joke checked off Spring Leaf on the first turn. Airbound checked off Aristotle Bale in the back straight. Whatta Joke and Airbound collided on the third turn. Whatta Joke and Kathy's Queen collided approaching the home turn.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Cool For School engaged (scratched) in this event on 12 December 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cheeky Hand prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course. 

A pre-race sample ws taken from Paua To Escape.

Cheeky Hand was quick to begin. Tantrum Tommy and Black Chase were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Paua To Escape and Cheeky Hand collided soon after the start. Sunday Shoes crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Unther Bale, Tantrum Tommy and Black Chase. Paua To Escape and Cheeky Hand collided approaching the first turn checking Cheeky Hand. Jayney Bale and Jet Mikado collided approaching the first turn. Jayney Bale checked off Cheeky Hand on the first turn checking Jet Mikado and Sunday Shoes. Jet Mikado checked off Unther Bale approaching the home turn. Tantrum Tommy and Sunday Shoes collided entering the home straight.

Mr. G. Barnsley was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration papers/registration card for the greyhound Bar No Rule pursuant to GAR 33.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Maintenance Man prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course, a pre-race sample was subsequently taken. 

Bar No Blue and Maintenance Man were slow to begin. Allen Gravion, Lektra Concord and Gemstar collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Lektra Concord and Bar No Blue collided on the first turn. Lister Bale, Lektra Concord and Bar No Blue collided on the second turn checking Lister Bale and Lektra Concord. Allen Gravion and Gemstar collided approaching the home turn. Gemstar and Maintenance Man collided on the home turn. Allen Gravion checked off Farmor Eye Am in the home straight.

Meeting Details

Satisfactory Trial Results - Pedro's Diamond trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 29.0kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.22, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 21 Lengths.  Pedro's Diamond was  Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Toc Flyer trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight 30.0kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.22, the greyhound won by a margin of .25Length. Toc Flyer was Cleared.

Stewards conducted a box draw for the Macro Meats Laurels to be held on 21 December 2014. Prior to this stewards conducted a random draw in the presence of the connections of Miss Latoya and Oakvale Destiny to determine Reserve number ten.
