The start of this race was delayed by 90 seconds to hold for an interstate gallops race.
Black To Front and Kolora Chelsea were slow to begin. Kolora Chelsea and Flying Babe collided soon after the start. Black To Front, Kolora Chelsea and Southwood Jack collided on the first turn checking Southwood Jack. Tricky Tezza galloped on the heels of Kolora Chelsea approaching the home turn checking Kolora Chelsea, Tricky Tezza and Southwood Jack.
Flying Babe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
