Acola Rosebud was quick to begin. Lady Toy and Can Can Hurrican were slow to begin.
Chasin Mikado checked off Acola Rosebud soon after the start. Lady Toy and Slipaway Mavis collided approaching the first turn. Chasin Mikado and Volksjager Blue collided approaching the first turn checking Volksjager Blue and Zipping Felix. Smouldering Doll, Zipping Felix and Can Can Hurrican collided approaching the first turn checking Zipping Felix and Can Can Hurrican. Smouldering Doll, Can Can Hurrican and Zipping Felix collided on the first turn checking Zipping Felix and checking Smouldering Doll which raced wide as a result. Acola Rosebud, Lady Toy and Can Can Hurrican collided on the first turn checking Lady Toy and Can Can Hurrican. Can Can Hurrican and Zipping Felix collided entering the back straight checking Can Can Hurrican. Acola Rosebud checked off Chasin Mikado on the third turn. Zipping Felix, Acola Rosebud and Volksjager Blue collided approaching the home turn checking Acola Rosebud. Slipaway Mavis and Acola Rosebud collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Chasin Mikado, Slipaway Mavis and Smouldering Doll raced wide in the home straight.
Smouldering Doll was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
