Sisco Wake was very slow to begin (2 lengths).  Classy Boy, Vernon Bale and Bonjoir Bonsoir were slow to begin.  Classy Boy and Vernon Bale collided soon after the start.  Volksjager Blue checked off Quasi Bale on the first turn checking Tekki Minx, Acola Rosebud and Vernon Bale.  Sisco Wake and Classy Boy collided on the second turn.  Sisco Wake and Vernon Bale collided on the fourth turn checking Classy Boy.  Volksjager Blue and Tekki Minx collided approaching the home turn.

Nail Clipper, Chrichton Bale and Fourth Choice were slow to begin.  Chrichton Bale and Fourth Choice collided soon after the start.  Fourth Choice checked off Cerberus soon after the start checking Chrichton Bale.  Cheap Currency, Nail Clipper and Fourth Choice collided on the first turn.  Waymore's Blues and Cerberus collided approaching the second turn.  Cheap Currency, Nail Clipper and Fourth Choice collided approaching the second turn.  Nail Clipper checked off Fourth Choice approaching the second turn.  Cheap Currency, Fourth Choice and Nail Clipper collided on the second turn.  Waymore's Blues and Hetalia Bale collided approaching the third turn.  Cerberus and Chrichton Bale collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Lites And Sirens was slow to begin.  Rockin' Josie and Allen Gundam collided soon after the start checking Rockin' Josie and Becci Leone.  Reap The Benefit, Rockin' Josie and Allen Gundam collided approaching the first turn.  Lites And Sirens and Allen Gundam collided on the third turn.  Paris Sparks checked off Reap The Benefit on the fifth turn checking Rockin' Josie.  Becci Leone and Paris Sparks collided approaching the home turn.  Paris Sparks checked off Rockin' Josie on the home turn.  Rockin' Josie and Lites And Sirens collided entering the home straight.

Dyna Quirk and Duomo Bale were slow to begin.  Tureaud and Dyna Quirk collided soon after the start.  Axis Bale, Gorham Bale and Lektra Outlaw collided soon after the start.  Tureaud checked off Lektra Outlaw approaching the first turn.  Gorham Bale and Lektra Outlaw collided approaching the first turn. Ikaku Bale was slow to begin.  Dyna Vikkers, Ikaku Bale and Crackerjack Max collided soon after the start.  Charleston and Serco Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Ikaku Bale.  Zipping Ryan and Ikaku Bale collided entering the home straight checking Charleston.  Dyna Vikkers and Crackerjack Max collided in the home straight.

Dyna Vikkers was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Double Rinse and Big Kat collided soon after the start checking Double Rinse.  Starc checked off Dyna Kayla approaching the first turn.  Starc and Dyna Kayla collided entering the back straight.

Dyna Kayla was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left hamstring, left calf, left back and right monkey muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Smart Maxwell, Rumero Reason and Skyfire were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Smart Maxwell and Rumero Reason collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Skyfire.  Smart Maxwell and Rumero Reason collided on the fourth turn.  He Isn't Really checked off Tweak on the home turn checking Skyfire.  Smart Maxwell and Rumero Reason collided entering the home straight.  He Isn't Really and Skyfire collided in the home straight.

Weston East and Usain I'm Nutty were slow to begin.  Astronomize, Weston East and Ultima Bale collided soon after the start.  Above All, Dawkins Bale, Weston East, Ultima Bale and Usain I'm Nutty collided on the first turn causing Ultima Bale to fall.  Dawkins Bale and Weston East collided on the second turn. Dawkins Bale checked off Dyna Yemen approaching the third turn checking Weston East and Astronomize.  Astronomize and Usain I'm Nutty collided on the home turn.

Ultima Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lillycette and Dyna Orion were slow to begin.  Polly Bale checked off Ima Fairytale approaching the first turn.  Dyna Orion checked off Vapourette approaching the first turn.  Ima Fairytale and Come On Fantasy collided on the first turn.  Polly Bale severely checked off Lillycette on the second turn checking Moot Point.  Polly Bale and Moot Point collided approaching the home turn.

Polly Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left calf and left hamstring.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Skip's Nightmare and Quantum Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Spring Leaf and Dyna Nico collided soon after the start.  Where's The Surf, Spring Leaf and Missile Flash collided on the first turn checking Spring Leaf, Where's The Surf, Bottom Dollar and Quantum Bale.  Blue Giant checked off Spring Leaf approaching the second turn checking Skip's Nightmare, Where's The Surf and Quantum Bale.  Spring Leaf checked off Bottom Dollar entering the back straight.  Blue Giant and Skip's Nightmare collided approaching the third turn checking Blue Giant.  Skip's Nightmare and Quantum Bale collided approaching the home turn.

Meeting Comments

Prior to the meeting, trainer Mr. D. McDonald provided stewards with a veterinary certificate pertaining to the greyhound Zipping Spike which had been scratched from Sale on 26th December 2014 (refer to stewards report - Race 8 Sale 26th December 2014).  The certificate was provided by Dr. D. Fegan and indicated the greyhound had sustained a severe sprain to the right hock.  In keeping with normal procedure the greyhound had received a 10 day stand down period after being scratched from Sale.
