Gangalla Nugget and Super Hot were slow to begin.  Uncool Albert and Full Day collided approaching the first turn checking Full Day.  Kitty's Dream checked off Flynnie on the first turn severely checking Full Day, Argyle Diamond, Super Hot and Gangalla Nugget.

Full Day was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped muscle to the right thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Frankie Tana and Just Gracie were slow to begin.  Miracle Maggie was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Slipaway Jenifer and Bone Crusher collided soon after the start checking Slipaway Jenifer.  Why Not Franklin and Why Not Liam collided approaching the first turn.  Slipaway Jenifer and Frankie Tana collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Frankie Tana.  Miracle Maggie checked off Why Not Liam approaching the home turn.

Bone Crusher was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained back soreness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Miracle Maggie was vetted following the event and revetted following race 9.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A. Daisley, trainer of Dirk And Rosie redeclared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dirk And Rosie last raced at 31.4kg.

Billy Beergarden, Missy Bee and Speed Chill collided soon after the start checking Billy Beergarden and Missy Bee.  Twirly Bird and Dirk And Rosie collided approaching the first turn.  Dirk And Rosie, Kiria Lason, Missy Bee and Billy Beergarden collided on the first turn checking Missy Bee and Billy Beergarden.  Missy Bee and Kiria Lason collided in the back straight.  Twirly Bird and Queen Hera collided in the back straight and again approaching the home turn checking Queen Hera.  Kiria Lason and Missy Bee collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Billy Beergarden eased in the home straight and collided with Hook Him In.

Mrs. M. Mallia- Magri, trainer of the greyhound Billy Beergarden declined to have the greyhound vetted following the event.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Mallia-Magri, trainer of the greyhound Billy Beergarden regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Billy Beergarden with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. M. Mallia-Magri pleaded guilty to the charge.  Billy Beergarden was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Corgi Cry was slow to begin.  Fos Newman and Teecee Raider collided approaching the first turn.  Spider Silva checked off Fos Newman on the first turn.  Spider Silva and Corgi Cry collided approaching the home turn.  Corgi Cry and Our Banjo collided in the home straight checking Corgi Cry.

Yazz was slow to begin.  Cooly Queen crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Flashing Bessy, Princess Mogambo, Will He Bolt and Oscar Shiraz.  Oscar Shiraz checked off Flashing Bessy on the first turn severely checking Will He Bolt and Princess Mogambo.  Flashing Bessy and Black Macoy collided in the home straight checking Black Macoy.
