Loves It and Streaming were slow to begin. Dalmuir Prince and Loves It collided soon after the start. Dalmuir Prince checked off Cool Mikado soon after the start. Cool Mikado and Amaroo My Girl collided approaching the first turn. Dalmuir Prince hit the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Loves It, Streaming and Chasin Mikado collided on the first turn. Loves It and Amaroo My Girl collided on the home turn. Cool Mikado and Chasin Mikado raced wide on the home turn. Amaroo My Girl raced wide in the home straight.
Dalmuir Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to it's left stifle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
