Bit Iffy and Effie Trinkett were slow to begin. Bubble Which and Perfect Causeway collided approaching the home turn checking Perfect Causeway. Perfect Causeway galloped on the heels of Another City approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds; Another City stumbled as a result. Bit Iffy, Stylish Ruler and Cattogio collided approaching the home turn. Cattogio galloped on the heels of Perfect Causeway approaching the home turn severely checking Perfect Causeway. Effie Trinkett crossed to the outside in the home straight and collided with Stylish Ruler several times checking both greyhounds.
Perfect Causeway was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
